How to verify the numbers for your firm

Run a time-and-motion sample

Ask 5–10 staff across different roles to log AI-automatable tasks for one week. Even a rough sample will give you better numbers than the defaults on this site.

Check your current shadow AI exposure

Survey staff anonymously on which AI tools they currently use for client work. The answer is usually surprising — and the basis for sizing the compliance risk.

Review your client data classification

Identify which clients have data that requires the strongest sovereignty answer (SMSF trustees, medical professionals, HNW individuals). This determines whether SaaS is viable or private is required.
